Sage X3 Project Manager - Contractor/Consultant

We're looking for a Sage X3 Project Manager to join our dynamic team to lead and deliver high-impact projects that can exploit our currently enabled Sage X3 v12 core finance and accounting functionality into a fully functioning ERP.

The ideal candidate has a deep functional knowledge of core Sage X3 modules (Finance, A/P-A/R, Purchasing, Sales, Stock, Distribution, Manufacturing, CRM etc.) and hands-on experience integrating other ISVs and developing custom functionality. You will collaborate with our Sage X3 Business Partner and internal stakeholders to achieve this goal. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage end-to-end project processes, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure that all project goals align with organizational objectives.

• Project Management: Oversee the full extension of Sage X3 functionality and ISV integration, from initial scoping to delivery, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Functional Expertise: Apply deep functional knowledge of core Sage X3 modules to gather business requirements, define best practices, and optimize workflows.
• Integration Management: Lead the integration of Sage X3 with other ISV solutions, ensuring seamless data flow, compatibility, and efficient functionality between systems.
• Custom Development Oversight: Collaborate with developers and IT teams to design and oversee custom functionality development within Sage X3, ensuring solutions meet business needs and technical standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, address any challenges, and ensure successful adoption of new functionalities and integrations.
• Documentation: Develop comprehensive project documentation, including functional specifications, and facilitate user training to ensure smooth transition and system adoption.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Sage X3 project management or consulting roles.
• Technical Skills: Strong functional knowledge of Sage X3 core modules (Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, etc.), with the ability to manage and oversee custom development and integrations with other ISVs.
• Project Management Skills: Proven experience managing projects, with excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Integration Experience: Demonstrated experience in integrating Sage X3 with other software solutions, with the ability to understand and navigate complex systems architecture.
• Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions; excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: PMP, Sage X3 certification, or equivalent project management and technical certifications.
• Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Industry Experience: Experience in retail, distribution, e-commerce, and manufacturing.
